On Sunday, the Cobb County Alphas proudly honored the legacy of Bro. Martin Luther King Jr. at Zion Baptist Church in Marietta. Bro. Rev. Dr. Lester McCorn, President of Paine College, delivered a profoundly uplifting sermon titled “Make America Brave Again,” challenging us to embrace courage, conviction, and leadership in these times.

We were also honored to award $10,000 in Gerald Fitzgerald Scholarships to support deserving future leaders in their academic pursuits! We remain committed to advancing educational opportunities and honoring Dr. King’s legacy of service and empowerment.

Dashing Through the Square is an AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifying event featuring electronic chip timing to ensure accuracy for runners. In its 10th year, this family-friendly race will take you past beautiful, historic homes and the quaint shops that line Marietta Square. I am not in Marietta, GA, but do you want to participate? Join our virtual 5K! Proceeds from this event will support youth enrichment programs and other community initiatives benefiting Cobb County.
